Try a free Zoom lessonDo online music lessons really work?
They can work brilliantly with a thoughtful setup. Jack can listen, watch, demonstrate, share music and give feedback live on Zoom. Afterwards, the Student Toolbox keeps the week’s focus and practice tasks clear, so learning continues away from the screen.
What equipment do I need?
You need your instrument, a phone, tablet, or computer with Zoom, a reliable internet connection, and enough space to play comfortably. During the trial, Jack can help you find a camera position that makes the lesson easy to teach.
Are complete beginners welcome?
Absolutely. Many students begin with their very first note. Piano, guitar and ukulele lessons are shaped around the individual, so no previous music experience is needed.
Are adults welcome?
Yes. Children and teenagers are the main focus, but adults are very welcome—whether you are starting from scratch, returning after a long break or looking for a more musical way to learn.
Does a parent need to stay for the lesson?
For younger beginners, having an adult nearby at the beginning can help with the setup and with understanding the week’s practice. Every student is different, so the free trial is a good time to decide what level of support will work best.
What happens during the free trial?
It is a genuine 30-minute one-to-one Zoom music lesson—not a sales call. Jack meets the student and parent, learns about their interests and experience, teaches a real lesson and gives the family a genuine feel for his approach.
What happens after the trial?
There is no automatic booking or commitment. If it feels like a good fit, Jack will explain the available lesson options and arrange the next step with you. No card is required for the trial and there is no obligation to continue.
How much do lessons cost?
The free 30-minute trial is €0. Ongoing term-based lessons are €25 per 30 minutes, and flexible four-week blocks are €30 per 30 minutes. A 60-minute lesson costs double the corresponding 30-minute price.
How are lessons booked?
Term-based lessons are the usual best-value option for families who want an ongoing weekly place. Four-week blocks offer a shorter commitment. Jack arranges the regular lesson time directly with the parent after a successful trial.
What happens between lessons?
Each student leaves with a clear focus for the week. Their Student Toolbox can show practice tasks, learning journeys, completed steps, developing musical skills and achievements, helping progress feel visible without replacing the personal teaching.
